Regarding collaboration agreement with Nissan Motors to realize a decarbonized society through the use of EV vehicles
On October 2nd, the Japan Tourism Road Association and Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. signed a “Collaboration Agreement to Create a Decarbonized Society Using Electric Vehicles.”
The signing ceremony was held at the Anest Iwata Turnpike Hakone Taikanzan Observation Deck, inviting Mr. Kodama, Counselor of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s Logistics and Motor Vehicles Bureau, and Mr. Mizutani, Director of the National Park Utilization Promotion Office, Ministry of the Environment.
Under this partnership agreement, toll road operators who are regular members of the Japan Tourism Road Association will gradually implement toll road usage fees and discounts at related facilities for electric vehicle (EV) users from October 1 of this year. The idea is to make efforts to raise awareness of EVs, cooperate with events, and raise awareness of EVs, and mutually contribute to decarbonization.
